The city of Flagler Beach belongs to both Volusia County and Flagler County and is north of famous Ormond Beach.  Affectionately referred to as “The Jewel of Florida’s East Coast” and named after important tycoon Henry M. Flagler, the city has some of the most amazingly scenic beach coasts that are arguably rivaled only by those of Daytona Beach to the south.  The city is also notable for its very low crime rate and the high desirability of Flagler Beach real estate which offers incredible beach homes in a very quiet and scenic location.
