To the north of famous Daytona Beach is the city of Ormond Beach. It’s got one of the richest histories in Florida that range from the Timucuan Indians that once lived there to some of the famous residents and historic figures that influenced the city’s development like John D. Rockefeller and Henry M. Flagler, respectively. Besides the popular Tomoka State Park, Ormond Beach is also the home of The Casements estate, one of Rockefeller’s winter residences during his later years that now functions as Ormond Beach’s cultural center.
