Volusia County’s Wilbur by the Sea is a small unincorporated area located east of the Halifax River.  One of the most unique features of Wilbur by the Sea is the complete lack of traditional condos or even a hotel.  Instead, people who choose to explore or choose Wilbur by the Sea real estate will find a collection of beachfront homes, many of which overlook the nearby Wilbur Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.  The neighborhood is separated by the Halifax River from Daytona Beach but remains close to Dunlawton Boulevard, making travel to and from the major tourist apex highly convenient.
